I think it's way beyond our current science to predict such events with this accuracy. We can't even predict events that are far more graspable than pole shifts, like changes in the weather.
"graspable"? the weather is far less uniform than the earths magnetic poles.
or at least it seems that way, but it might not be... http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20427335.600-tomorrows-weather-cloudy-with-a-chance-of-fractals.html

10: EVE will die... Its been what 5/6 years overdue now ;p
EvE will outlast us all. I suspect it has already gained some kind of vague sub-conscious sentience.

Originally by: Abrazzar Considering you can fit all of mankind in a 3x3x3km cube easily, no, it will not do a thing to earth's orbit. The average volcanic eruption has more thrust than that.
...I imagine that would actually be quite difficult

Post blender of course.
Well, there's still the logistics of it.
Sure you could force most people into the giant blending and storage device, but then you have to convince/trick those who helped you to jump in too. Then you would have to jump in yourself, leaving you no chance to savor the sense of achievement you would get from completing such a difficult feat.
I guess it's feasible with a programmable army of robots, but unfortunately technology just isn't good enough... yet.
I consulted Cleverbot about this...
Quote: Is it possible to liquidate the entire human race, and fit them into a 27 cubic kilometer container?
It is possible. Bands play music. Some humans like all music.
So bait them into the blender with sweet melodies? like the Sirens of old?
Sugary sweet.
What music would you suggest?
Becoming the bull by atreyu or remember the name by fort minor.
Thankyou, Cleverbot.
